About The Non-Profit:
Founded in 2007 by Bonnie Bell (3 times cancer survivor), Breast and Body Health Inc. (formerly Sisters United) became a nonprofit, 501c3 organization on October 24, 2008 and it consist of a group of volunteers who supports and advocates for those in the Eastern Panhandle of WV who have been affected by cancer.
Our mission is to provide education, awareness, and support to those in our community who have been affected by cancer. We advocate for funding, research, and resources for cancer patients and families.
As founder and president of Breast and Body Health Inc., Mrs. Bell mission is to provide education, awareness, and support to those in the community who have been affected by cancer, through research and funding advocacy. Having been diagnosed with cancer four times, her focus on victim support stems from her own personal experience.
Since Breast and Body has been established we have helped with medicine, co-pays, utility bills, gas cards, wigs, scarves, hats, prosthetics, and mastectomy bras to over 50 women, men, and children who has been effected and also raised funds to help Susan G Komen (WV), WVU Foundation; Ronald McDonald House (WV); and Rosenbaum Family House all by local fundraising.
